Original Mixed Media Gallery Wrapped Canvas – “Grace”

Description

Gallery wrapped canvas measuring 12 x 24 x 1 & 1/2 inches. Background created using pebbles, script, leaf & arch stencils and modeling paste. Colors used are naples yellow with a touch of teal. Highlights created using Art Alchemy waxes from Prima in peacock. Grace spelled out using painted chipboard letters and attached to the canvas with twine and mini clothespins. All of these items are securely glued so that they will not come off.
I especially love the texture created for the rocks at the bottom. The pictures don’t do it justice 🙂 The final icing on this mixed media canvas are the waxes used primarily on the rocks to create illusive multi-colored depth. This piece would make a lovely accent in any home.
